Position IT ASSISTANT - BURNABY
Description

We have a temp-to-perm opportunity with a great organization for an IT Assistant with strong skills in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver) and strong knowledge of programming, content management, graphic and multimedia design.
SharePoint and good knowledge of social media would be a definite asset!

Key Duties:
• Preparing and posting information on web portal, including events, registrations and updates
• Assist with the development and support of other pages on the website, including some design, development and maintenance procedures
• Assist with email campaigns
• Follow-ups by phone and email to verify contact information for the site
• Provide digital training for other staff members
• Provides one-on-one and group training with Regional Executive members on the digital services and tools used in their positions.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' related experience
• Good knowledge of Web technologies, protocols, and tools
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Well-organized, with keen attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills, with a pleasant, tactful manner

Position ADMIN ASSISTANT - SURREY
Description

Administrative Assistant required for 3-4 weeks, starting ASAP, with a large head office in Surrey. Candidates must have moderate to advanced Excel skills, be very proficient with Outlook calendars and have excellent organizational skills.

Description

We're seeking a highly driven individual with a proven track record of working both independently and in a team environment as well as demonstrating strong initiative, communication, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably major in Accounting or Finance required along with 1+ year's of full cycle accounting experience. Position FINANCIAL ANALYST
Description

This is a month-to-month assignment with a large institution, starting ASAP.  We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with at least 4 years’ experience using spreadsheet software and integrated financial database(s).  Candidate must be enrolled in the CPA (CGA or CMA) and have a strong understanding of budget, finance accounting and control procedures. 

The position supports the budget administration process including the development of the annual budget, the preparation and updating of forecasts, quarterly financial reports and budget reports, and the budget-to-actual review process.   

The position is based in Vancouver and there is easy access from the Canada Line.

Skill Set required:

  • Ability to create, develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and prepare related analyses.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.

GENERAL LABOUR AND LIGHT INDUSTRIAL

Position JUNIOR WAREHOUSE PERSONNEL
Description

Large, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility has an ongoing need for Junior Warehouse / general labour people, with steel-toed boots and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. These are temporary positions, starting ASAP, week-by-week. You must be able to do 12 hour rotating shifts -- 7:00 am to 7:00 p.m. for two weeks and then 7:00 p.m -- 7:00 a.m. for two, etc.

These positions are responsible for material movement to and from lines, between warehouses and the correct packaging of finished goods. Duties are varied and may include activities that assist other departments and personnel, such as cleaning, sweeping mopping, assembling, lifting, moving, and offering general assistance.
