Position ADMIN ASSISTANT WITH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Description

Administrative Assistant with current experience working in the Construction industry is required for a temporary position with a regional office in Surrey.  There is a strong possibility that the job will go permanent for the right candidate and it starts as soon as possible.  This is a very fast-paced environment where priorities are constantly changing, so you need to be someone who can hit the ground running!

Duties:

  • Providing administrative support to 5 Project Managers
  • Record management and file maintenance
  • Tracking status of each project budget, monitoring expenditures, updating project contract information database
  • Reviewing invoices
  • Preparing minutes and meeting agendas for distribution
  • Preparing reports, charts, tables and presentation material from rough draft, using a variety of software applications
  • Gather and compile financial data as directed; research and summarize information for reports
  • Maintain and organize appointment calendars
  • Various office tasks such as photocopying, ordering supplies, mail, phones, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Administrative experience from the construction industry
  • Quick learner, adaptable, flexible, well-organized

Description

Description

Position ADMIN ASSISTANT - SURREY
Description

Administrative Assistant required for 3-4 weeks, starting ASAP, with a large head office in Surrey. Candidates must have moderate to advanced Excel skills, be very proficient with Outlook calendars and have excellent organizational skills.

Primary duties will be to assist with the annual review of information technology roles in the organization -- sending out emails, calling for follow-ups, entering data into Excel spreadsheets, etc. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
