Description

Excellent temp-to-perm opportunity in the Human Resources department of a major corporate employer located in Surrey. Candidates must have excellent administrative assistant skills, good computer proficiency and a personable, friendly attitude.

Position LEGAL ADMIN ASSISTANT - ASAP FOR 3 MOS.
Description

Busy non-profit association in Burnaby, easily accessed by the Skytrain, has a 3 month temporary assignment starting as soon as possible for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant.

Candidates should have:
• Knowledge of commercial lending transactions (security documents and LTO registration process)
• Legal experience with real estate purchases and sales
• Experience with reviewing LTO documents such as a Form A Transfers, Form B Mortgage, Form C Lease, etc.)

Description

Manufacturer and distributor in South Burnaby is seeking an Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative for a temporary assignment starting ASAP. Vehicle required for location. Position reports to the Customer Service Department Manager.

The position will be responsible for helping customers with processing orders, backorders, information request, shipping and other related issues, up selling and providing sales support to the Sales Representatives.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Answer calls and process requests in a timely manner
• Provide product information
• Process incoming orders via phone, fax and email
• Up sell products and offer promotions to customers
• Fulfill Back Orders
• Follow up with any customer/rep requests including product info, shipping inquiries, etc.
• Issue credits for damaged products, send replacement if requested

Qualifications:

Description

Experienced Order Picker required starting as soon as possible on a long-term temp basis with a large warehouse in Richmond. Location is bus accessible from the 22nd Street Skytrain station. 

Candidates need to have order picker and Reach experience, numerical aptitude and not be afraid of heights, as the racking in the warehouse is quite high and you will be utilizing a Reach truck for that. Must also be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

The successful candidate must pass a Criminal Record check prior to employment.

We have a maternity leave contract position available 3 days a week for an experienced, self-directed and well-organized Executive Assistant. You must be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Position QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Description

This position will start on a temporary basis (full-time hours) but will go permanent for the right candidate.  You must have a minimum of 5 years of Quality System administration experience, be familiar with SPC, GRandR and lean principles. A technical degree and ASQ certification would be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between Business Units and Operations; administer all PRs and provide technical investigation support when required
  • Publish weekly reports on non-conformances
  • Maintain, revise and update all related documentation, procedures, work instructions and quality forms
  • Serve as the primary contact for external QMS and suppliers
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of the company’s operational systems
  • Act as a resource for senior management in the execution of system improvement initiatives
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Lab and development of new testing techniques

Description

2 order pickers required for shift work with large tire distribution centre in Burnaby. Candidates must have experience on cherry picker or similar equipment - will be pulling down tires - weighing up to 40 lbs. Shifts available are 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Positions start as soon as possible for up to 3 months. Transit accessible from Metrotown station. 

We are also looking for two general labourers to load, unload trucks, move tires and help to prepare shipments. 
One to start at 7:00 a.m. and one at 8:00 a.m. at $15.50 an hour. Positions start as soon as possible!

Position SKILLED LABOURER
Description

Large organization in downtown Vancouver is seeking a skilled labourer on a temporary basis for up to 8 weeks. 

This position will provide support to and work under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman and tradesmen in the Maintenance Department. 

Duties will include operating various equipment for repair and maintenance including mobile cranes, backhoes for excavating and backfilling, jack hammers, chainsaws, forklifts, high-reach trucks and other equipment as required. 

We are seeking a mature, responsible person with a minimum of 3 years' related experience including the use of various machinery and equipment. A good understanding of the trades involved in the maintenance and construction fields is required. You must also have a valid Class 3 BC Driver's license with an air brake endorsement.
