Position EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - DIRECTOR SUPPORT IN BURNABY
Description

Our Burnaby-based client is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant for 3 – 6 months. This role works independently and exercises initiative, judgment and problem-solving skills to complete work. The Executive Assistant assesses the complex demands of their Senior Team (ST) member’s office and, where appropriate, handles issues both in person and through written communication. The ideal candidate is someone who is great at calendar management, expenses, and who has strong organization skills to manage five directors.

DUTIES:

  • Maintains the ST member’s calendar
  • Books corporate travel for ST only
  • Collects and compiles data
  • Coordinates meetings
  • Generates a variety of document
  • Develops, monitors, evaluates, and implements office procedures
  • Maintains the document management
  • Handles all sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Checks invoices
  • Reconciles corporate credit card statements and expense reports for ST
  • Performs other duties as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Grade 12 education

Position ACCOUNTING CLERK - RICHMOND
Description

Our Richmond-based client is looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to start as soon as possible and continue week by week.

DUTIES:

  •  Match supplier invoices from the storeroom to the daily receiving log
  •  Coding/Entering/Posting Invoices & Credit Note
  •  Preparing manual cheques
  •  Answering supplier/internal concerns or question thru email or phone calls
  •  Opening the mail, distributing or submit to the Operation Manager for approval
  •  Filling out and faxing credit application per request
  •  Maintaining log for incoming invoices for approval
  •  Preparing System payment runs twice a month, i.e. 5th and 20th

Description

Large high profile corporate office in downtown Vancouver has a long-term temporary assignment starting as soon as possible for an individual with Move Management experience, preferably supporting offices of 100,000 square feet or more.  Candidates should also have project planning and coordination experience and previous experience in operations and facilities management would be an asset.

Specific responsibilities include

•          Contribute to the creation of the end-to-end business readiness plan (ex.  Office clean-up, records management, packing, vendor selection processes, move logistics, etc.)

•          Track all related key deliverables, milestones and activities
