BRAND AMBASSADORS WHO KNOW THE ART OF "GREET-TELL-SELL" - SHIFTS AVAILABLE MAY 14, 15, 16

Description

A number of people are needed as Brand Ambassadors, representing and selling various product lines related to food and sun care products, within a major retailer. These are all in Mall locations throughout the lower mainland - Burnaby, Surrey, North Vancouver and Queensborough.

Shifts are available on Thursday and Friday between 11:30 am and 6:00 pm and there are shifts on the Saturday as well (10 am to 4:30) of the May long weekend.

Candidates must be well-spoken, with a professional attitude, a confident, friendly manner and the ability to engage the public. A neat and well-groomed appearance will be required and there is a dress code of long-sleeve white shirt and black bottoms.




Compensation $14.50 per hour

Position LEGAL ADMIN ASSISTANT - LABOUR RELATIONS & WCB EXPERIENCE
Description

Large organization in the Burnaby area needs an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant on a temporary basis. The assignment starts towards the end of May and will go for at least 3 months; possibly longer.


The work performed is complex and requires a high level of responsibility, coordination, organization, and evaluation in order to determine the priorities that will meet the needs of the department and the organization. Your legal experience should include familiarity with labour relations, LTD and WCB.

Skills required:
- Current LAA experience, with emphasis on labour relations
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Word and Excel
- 65 wpm accurate keyboarding
- Experience with taking minutes

Position RECEPTIONIST / ADMIN ASSISTANT - DELTA
Description

Very busy food distribution / grocery supplier located in Delta is seeking an experienced and outgoing Receptionist to cover vacation relief for two weeks, starting May 11th.

This is a busy reception desk, handling a multi-line phone system, doing product updates in an Excel spreadsheets, data entry, mail and booking meetings using Outlook calendar.

Candidates MUST have current office skills, a professional and polite phone manner, proficiency with MS Office suite of products, accurate keyboarding and an excellent customer service attitude.

We also have other temporary Reception / Admin spots, all with professional offices, available in Surrey and Richmond, mostly to cover holiday relief.  Vehicle an asset to reach some locations.  Positions require a minimum 1 year's office experience.

Position SHIPPING CLERK - 3 DAYS A WEEK
Description

This temporary position starts ASAP for 3 months, 3 days a week – ideally Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.   It’s a warehouse environment for a large employer – very busy atmosphere but extremely nice people to work for and they like to have people who fit in well with their team, have a great work ethic and good communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable + appropriate clothing for a warehouse environment.   Jeans are OK. 
  • Closed toe shoes, steel toes not necessary but an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs
  • Basic computer skills for inputting information into web-based software
  • Good at tactical hands-on work and enjoy creating things (like putting together various marketing materials, for example)
  • Knowledge of basic shipping and cross-border requirements

Description

Starts ASAP for approximately 4 weeks with a Vancouver-based non-profit organization.

Candidates must have the experience and skills to effectively juggle multiple projects, deadlines and managers.  You are comfortable working with confidential information and have the ability to think on your feet.  Bookkeeping experience and excellent MS Office software skills essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Support budget preparation
  • Accounts payable and receivables including issuing cheques and entering invoices into computerized system
  • Preparing bank deposits and performing bank reconciliations
  • Communicating with board members and committee chairs
  • Maintain office procedures including correspondence, filing systems, vendor relations, etc.
