Description

One year contract within a corporate Human Resources department, downtown. Starts ASAP. This would be a great spot for an experienced Administrative Assistant, working towards their CHRP and looking to gain more on-the-job experience.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, above-average verbal & written communication skills and a mature, professional attitude. Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook is also required.

Position ADMIN - BURNABY - WEEK BY WEEK
Description

Temporary assignment, starts as soon as possible, on a week to week basis with a large company in Burnaby.

Working for the Supply Chain group, you will utilize your excellent administrative and organizational skills to support the purchase of goods and services for the organization.

Duties:

  • Ensure that all purchasing requisitions are approved
  • Place orders with approved Suppliers
  • Updates to product database and assist with managing Vendor database
  • Ensure items are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Generate reports

Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Quick learner,  proactive, works well with minimal supervision
  • Procurement / buying experience in a manufacturing environment would be a definite asset
  • Knowledge of MRP / ERP system an asset
  • Exceptional customer service ability

Position ADMIN ASSISTANT - RECEPTIONIST
Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Administrative Assistants and Receptionists for temporary assignments of varying lengths and in numerous locations (Vancouver/Burnaby/Delta, etc.)

Successful candidates will provide a broad variety of basic clerical support duties such as:

• Inputting and retrieving data
• File maintenance including Bring Forward systems
• Respond to customer requests for information and distribute information packages
• Answering telephones and respond to routine inquiries
• Scheduling meetings including booking rooms and catering
• Order office supplies
