PART-TIME ADMIN FOR NON-PROFIT |
| Description |
Non-profit foundation in Vancouver has need of some administrative assistance to help with a backlog of work including data entry and basic administration. Estimated hours are 14 per week for approximately two months. Start date, the sooner the better!
Duties:
- Input information into database
- Prepare and mail letters
- Follow-up with applicants when information is missing
- File documents
- Inputting data into Excel spreadsheet
You should be able to work independently, develop your work schedule to accomplish your priorities, and have strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database experience. Good verbal communication skills are also essential as you will be in contact with clients. |

| Description |
Starts March 22, downtown, until May 31st. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, proficiency with MS Office applications and at least one year's work experience in an accounting environment.
Duties:
- Enter and process data in a variety of databases
- Verify information for accuracy
- Prepare invoices and follow-up on overdue accounts
- Provide word processing services
- Prepare presentations
- Maintain manual and electronic filing systems for the department
You will be working for several Project Managers, so excellent prioritizing and multi-tasking skills are essential! JDE software experience would be an asset. |

VISUAL DESIGNER WITH PROFESSIONAL WEB DESIGN EXPERIENCE |
| Description |
Two Visual Designers with solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are required for a six month project beginning ASAP with a large, international company. You should also have working knowledge of Adobe Flash, CSS and HTML as well as at least three years of professional web design experience. Candidates will be expected to bring a portfolio of work examples with them.
Responsibilities:
- Translate interaction design/wire frames into visual user interfaces
- Deliver site concepts, compos, annotated comps and cut assets
- Ensure a consistent visual presentation
- Develop new approaches to complex design problems and convey ideas in tangible forms
- Apply user-centered design practices to create a high quality consumer experience
- Work closely with team members of interaction designers and copywriters to execute on group and site vision

NEW MEDIA PUBLISHING SUPPORT |
| Description |
3 month project starts as soon as possible at Burnaby site of major communications company. Candidates must have relevant experience working with media partners and working in a media publishing environment. Working within a team, your main responsibilities will include issue management, responding to support requests from publishers, and corresponding and working with the Publishing Support team in North America. You will also monitor forum discussion boards and provide walkthroughs of the company's publishing tools and apps to end users.
