Excellent permanent opportunity available with a Burnaby facility for an experienced Buyer. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years' procurement experience within an industrial environment and preferably a degree in Supply Chain management. PMAC Certification would be a plus.

Specific responsibilities include purchase order placement, expediting, sourcing new suppliers, formulating procurement proposals, evaluating bids and managing the facility's parts and inventory storage.

Position starts as soon as possible with a tentative interview schedule for the first week of December.

Temporary assignment available in Langley for an experienced ADP Payroll administrator. Position starts November 25 for approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Duties will include preparing an ADP/EZ Labour payroll for 120 unionized staff, processing benefits applications, department filing and reception relief.

Candidates should have at least one year's current ADP payroll experience and a warm, cooperative and friendly manner.

Outstanding temporary contract available, running 3 to 6 months, for an experienced Conference Sales Representative with several years' experience in the hospitality industry with a proven track record of conference sales. This position starts as soon as possible and could be extended beyond the length of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
• Generate conference space sales through effective relationship building
• Negotiate corporate rates and contract terms
• Provide prompt and effective response to incoming sales inquiries to secure bookings
• Participates in prospecting and direct solicitation to generate business.
• Represent the organization at predefined trade shows and industry events.
• Participate and provide on- site inspections and tours to potential clients.
• Contribute to the development of unique meeting packages to reflect guest expectations and to support improved revenue capture.
• Actively participates in cross-sell efforts to solicit business
• Use database system to maintain updated prospect and client profiles

• Minimum 3 years previous proven sales experience in a hospitality setting such as a resort, hotel or conference facility
• Solid understanding of Event Logistics, including but not limited to A/V requirements, set-up/take down of events, catering requirements and ability to provide quotes to clients for food/beverage charges
• Post-secondary education, preferably a degree / diploma in a related discipline.
• Strong negotiating skills and in-depth knowledge of contracts & proposals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Valid BC driver's license
• Experience utilizing the Ungerboeck booking system would be a definite asset
