Duties will involve proofing, correcting or re-entering information, so strong attention to detail.

Position SENIOR ADMIN ASSISTANT - BURNABY
Description

Temporary assignment, starts ASAP, for an indefinite period of time at an excellent hourly rate! The position requires a highly organized and detailed person, used to handling complex responsibilities and multiple priorities. Experience dealing with regulatory bodies or legal-related work would be a definite asset.

Duties will include preparing confidential correspondence and contracts, providing quarterly reports, handling a complex Bring Forward system, and booking travel arrangements.

Candidates MUST have current A/A experience, preferably within a large organization, above-average communication skills and advanced skills in Word, Outlook and Excel.

Position EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - RICHMOND
Description

Assignment starts July 22 or 23 for approximately 2 to 3 months, working for the Director of IT in this large organization.

You will be responsible for performing diverse secretarial and administrative support duties, using discretion and tact in handling confidential and sensitive information relating to policies and operations.  It is vital that you are able to organize the director’s schedule with respect to ever-changing meeting requests and appointments often with little notice in a fast-paced environment.

 Candidates must have 50 wpm typing, at least 3 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant role and solid MS Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Working knowledge of MS SharePoint is an asset.  You have strong attention to detail, can recognize sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality, and maintain a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe, organize, and compile confidential reports, memos, minutes and correspondence
  •  Establish and maintain files and records and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for sensitive correspondence and files
  • Compile departmental budget summaries and various monthly statistics
  • Arrange appointments, meetings and seminars including travel arrangements
  • Maintain office supplies and stationary

 






Compensation $24 an hour

Position EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - BURNABY
Description

Temporary assignment available in Burnaby for a well-organized, technically proficient E/A.  Position starts as soon as possible until early October and may get extended further.

In this role, you will be providing support to the President and executive team and your responsibilities will include organizing meetings, making travel arrangements, handling catering requirements, and taking & transcribing minutes.

Strong MS Office skills are required and experience with Sharepoint would be an asset.  This is an extremely busy, multi-tasking role, so you must have exceptional organizational skills and the confidence to use your initiative.  Minimum 3 years’ Executive Assistant experience required.
